Lately there are more people reporting contacts on WhatsApp, this is due to new attempts of scam or marketing where they send us a lot of SPAM with the purpose of selling us something or enter some site. WhatsApp allows us to report these numbers so that they do not continue to do so. Before reporting a contact we always recommend blocking it and NEVER open a link from an unknown or an untrusted contact.

How to report a WhatsApp contact

To report or denounce a contact in WhatsApp we have to go to the profile of the user we want to report. By scrolling down we will see the option to report the user, after clicking on it a window will appear asking us if we want to block the user and delete the previous conversations. We always recommend doing this unless it is something very serious that requires a report and the conversations have to be used as evidence, this is a very extreme case, but if we want to report something it will be useless to delete the conversations.
