How to add a contact in WhatsApp

If you want to add a contact in WhatsApp, you can choose the option to add it directly from the application, or add it to your Contacts list, from which WhatsApp will get the contact. The process to add someone on WhatsApp is very simple and won’t cost you more than a minute.

As we have already mentioned, having a contact added to our mobile contact list will be enough for WhatsApp to include it among our contacts. If you have already added a contact in your list and it does not appear in WhatsApp, the solution is to update the contact list of the application, following this route: New chat > Options > Update contacts.

If you still don’t manage to add a contact in WhatsApp, you can go to New chat > Options > Add new contact, where you can assign the phone number of the person you want to add in Whatsapp. If you still don’t see the contact in your chats, go back to update the contacts, as we have previously explained.

After following these steps you should be able to add a contact in WhatsApp without any problem.
